Pricedeck Privacy Policy

Information we process

Pricedeck processes store information made available through Shopify that is required to provide the service, including store identity, products and variants, product pricing data, store locations, inventory-related information where required, app configuration, and historical pricing records created through the app.

Pricedeck also stores authentication and session information necessary to securely connect the app to Shopify and may process standard technical information such as request timestamps, IP addresses, error logs, and browser or device information for security, troubleshooting, and service reliability.

Pricedeck does not require access to customer orders or customer personal information to provide its core functionality and does not use merchant or buyer data for advertising.

How we use information

We use information only as necessary to operate Pricedeck, including maintaining historical pricing records, generating and publishing public price lists, displaying relevant pricing information on storefronts, managing store locations and settings, providing support, preventing abuse, and maintaining the security and reliability of the service.

Public price-list data

When a merchant enables public price-list publishing, selected product and pricing information may be made publicly accessible in CSV or XML format as part of the functionality requested by the merchant.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements. When a merchant uninstalls Pricedeck, the app processes Shopify’s required privacy and deletion webhooks and removes store data in accordance with those requirements, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.

Service providers and international transfers

Pricedeck relies on Shopify and third-party cloud hosting, database, and infrastructure providers to operate the service. These providers may process information in the European Economic Area and other jurisdictions. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

Data rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain information about the processing of their personal data. Requests can be submitted using the contact details below.
